　　Many scientists in history have changed our lives a lot. 历史上许多科学家改变了我们的生活.

　　Were there only male scientists? 只有男性科学家吗?

　　Of course not, there have been many female¹ scientists. 当然不是，也有很多女性科学家。

　　One of them was Marie Curie. 其中之一就是玛丽·居里。

　　She and her husband were genius scientists, they were both interested in physics. 她和她丈夫都是天才科学家，他们对物理都感兴趣。

　　After a few years of experiments, they discovered a radio activity.  经过几年的实验，他们发现了无线电活动。

　　Using discovery, people could make various things later, such as microwave oven². 利用这一发现，人们可以在以后做各种各样的事情，比如发明微波炉。

　　After her husband died, she kept study. 她丈夫去世后，她继续学习。

　　Later, she became the first female professor at the University of Paris. 不久，她成为巴黎大学的第一位女教授。

　　And first scientist who won two Nobel Prizes. 她是第一个获得两次诺贝尔奖的科学家。
