　　A drought is a long period of water shortage. 干旱是指长期的水资源短缺。

　　If we have no rainfall for a long time, we can face drought. 如果我们所在的地区长时间不下雨，我们就会面临干旱。

　　During a drought, we can see a lot of damage to nature. 干旱区间，我们会看到很多干旱给自然带来的破坏。

　　A drought can cause a wildfire. 干旱会引起野火。

　　This wildfire usually lasts a few days, and sometimes, a few weeks. 这样的野火通常会持续几天，有时甚至是几个星期。

　　This wildfire can destroy our houses and woods, and it takes lives too. 这些野火能毁灭我们的房屋和树林，还会夺走生命。
