 A love of China came from Yunnan

Andrea Myles is CEO of the 'China-Australia Millennial¹ Project' and in 2014 was named as one of Australia's most influential² women. Andrea was participating at the recent 'Australia-China Design Industry Collaboration³ Forum⁴' - part of Beijing Design Week 2015. She and Bruce talked outside 'COPPER⁵' on Nafu Hutong where the forum was held.

The Millennial Project has worked as a business incubator for young Chinese and Australian entrepreneurs.

Andrea has been involved with China since coming to the country initially⁶ as a backpacker in 2002. Since then she has developed a passionate⁷ love for the country which she shares at every opportunity. Studying in Yunnan's Kunming she went on to spend a year living in Shangri La (Zhongdian) from 2009 to 2010. Andrea and Bruce share experiences of that incredibly beautiful and bio-diverse area. They talk of how Shangri La can sustain eco-tourism along side the rapid growth of travel to Yunnan.
