The crisis in Ukraine takes a potentially dangerous turn, with Kiev saying its forces attacked and partly destroyed a column of Russian armoured vehicles that entered Ukrainian territory overnight. But there's now open division in Europe over how to respond to the situation. In Britain, the new football Premier¹ League season kicks off. We ask the European vice³ president of Buzzfeed, Alan Hayward, whether the site's worth more than the Washington Post.
