 Nothing is more seductive than the unknown, nothing more compelling than a place of danger that lies beyond normal comprehension. Of all those places, perhaps the strangest of all are black holes. They are an exit point from the Universe, hidden trap doors in the fabric¹ of space time. 

 

What would it be like to enter the void, and succumb² to a black hole’s dark mysteries? 

 

Now for the first time, astronomers³ are set to find out. For the first time the black hole at the centre of our very own galaxy⁴ is about to yield up its secrets.
