喜欢吃肉吗？爱吃肉的朋友们可要好好学习这一课了，不然你想吃哪个肉菜却说不出来，可就要着急啦。
我通常吃鸡肉、猪肉和牛肉。I usually eat chicken, pork and beef.

“meat”既可作可数名词，也可作不可数名词。

 

强调“肉的种类”时用作可数名词，强调“肉”时用作不可数名词。

例如：I like grilled³ meats.（我喜欢各种烤肉。）

How much meat do you need for this dish?（做这道菜你需要多少肉？）

 

此外，“red meat”用于表示颜色比较深的肉，比如牛肉。

“white meat ”用来表示颜色比较浅的肉，比如鸡肉。

“the butcher’s ”指“肉店”。类似的结构还有：the barber's（理发店），the dentist's（牙诊所）等。

“sth. sounds great”表示“…听起来不错”。

 

“sound”后面跟形容词，表示“…听起来怎么样”。

例如：The whole story sounds very odd.（整个故事听起来很古怪。）
