 　　泰国王室10月13日发表声明称，泰国国王普密蓬·阿杜德(Bhumibol Adulyadej)去世，享年88岁。1946年登上王位的普密蓬是世界上在位时间最长的君主，今年是他登基七十周年。而在他去世之后，在位时间最长的君主当属英国女王伊丽莎白二世。

　　The Queen became monarch at the age of 25 on the death of her father King George VI on 6 February 1952. Now 90, she has reigned² for 64 years, eight months and seven days, or considerably³ more than two thirds of her life.

The wealthy Sultan is a car enthusiast⁶, reportedly owning a private collection of up to 5,000 luxury sports cars.
