More winter misery for Western Europe.Snow, ice and bitter cold are delaying travellers's racing to get home before Christmas. Germany's Dortmund Airport has shut its doors, Dusseldorf Airport is back open but reporting cancellations. Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport is also reporting delays and cancellations. Only one run way is in use at Brussels's airport. Hundreds of flights at Charles de Gaulle  Airport in Paris have been cancelled. Authorities have also evacuated terminal 2E for those were familar with Charles de Gaulle to clear heavy snow from the roof.

Apparently, they've gone through not only putting out warnings to their security screeners, but also to have special training for them. You know, this is, actually, in a funny way, Carol, this is good news. We're finally getting to a point where we gather intelligence, we incorporate it into our screening procedures before they attempt it.And so, we have to be honest. They haven't banned these insulated beverage containers. What they're saying is they're going to get additional scrutiny, and we've trained our people to look at them and tell the difference between typical insulation and something that may be an explosive.

Russia's lower house of parliament has given a preliminary approval to a nuclear arms pact with United States. It would reduce the two nations's unclear arsenal to allow each other to inspect each others' nuclear stock piles. Two more readings that are necessary for the pact goals for the House, the US summits approved the treaty earlier this week.

This has been going on now for 25 years. It kind of just started up. I'm not really sure of the history of this.Oh! Stable there, Santa!Those are his reindeer in front of him. But people eat this up and love it. It's become a family tradition. You can't see from this picture, but there is a huge crowd gathered here to watch --Oh! Stabilize, there, Santa. Keep it together! But Santa -- it's called Water-Skiing Santa. That is the title of this thing. It started years and years ago.The Grinch, as you see there, on this particular jet ski, is a part of this celebration. Now you see on the other side there, huge crowds turn out for this. They have been doing this the past 25 years. If you can believe that, this is the water skiing Santa event.Now, as part of this event, Santa has elves and helpers. He has the Grinch out there. I think Mrs. Claus might make an appearance at some time. They started years and years ago and they have kept it up.
