今天，我们学学如何用英语表达"偶然做了某事"，首先：
Happen to do something 是指偶然做某事
I happened to be out when he called. 他打电话来时，我正好外出了。
I happened to have my check-book with me. 我碰巧身上带了支票薄。
Happen on/upon something 表示偶然发现某物
I happened on just the thing I'd been looking for. 我偶然发现了我一直在寻找的东西。
Come across 是指偶然发现，遇见某人或某物
I came across your job advertisement when I was searching on the internet. 我在网上查东西的时候偶然看到了你们的招聘信息。
I came across this lost dog in a park. 我偶然在公园里发现了这只丢失的狗。
Bump into 是指偶然撞见某人，不预期地碰见某人
I bumped into my primary school teacher the other day. 我前两天撞见了我的小学老师。
We bumped into each other when we were shopping in the Trust Mart. 我们俩都在好又多购物时，撞见了彼此。
Accidentally是个副词，表示偶然地，意外地， 我们在动词前面放上这个副词，也能表示偶然做某事。
Mom, I accidentally broke the plate, will you forgive me? 妈妈，我不小心打破了盘子，你能原谅我吗？
Jenny accidentally ruined her prospects. 珍丽意外地毁了自己的前程。
