The satellite picture shows a ridge over Queensland and New South Wales keeping skies mostly clear. A cloud band is moving over northern New South Wales. Cloud over western Tasmania and WA is causing some rain. Taking a look around the states tomorrow, some isolated showers about the northeast Queensland coast and some early frost over the interior.
In New South Wales, there’ll be morning frost and fog with isolated showers about the southern inland but mostly sunny elsewhere.
Victoria will see scattered rain over the southern and mountain areas, extending to the northern inland and becoming widespread about the coast.
In Tasmania, showers across the state with snow for lower into around 300 metres about the south.
South Australia will see showers over the west coast and agricultural areas. More isolated about the far south.
In Western Australia, isolated thundery rain for the northwest and moderate falls about the state’s lower west.
And in the Top End, a partly cloudy and dry day.
Looking ahead to Monday, sunny in Brisbane, Sydney and Darwin; early frost and cloud for Canberra; cloudy in Perth and some rain in the other capitals. |
