Right now, I'm building a new house and Evernote is helping me stay organized and on track. Here's how.

 

This is the wish list for my new house. I can check these items off as we incorporate them into the design. I can easily capture information from a web page by highlighting the information I want, right clicking the Evernote button in the text bar and choosing “Clip current selection”. This works in Internet Explorer, Firefox and other browsers. Capturing images to Evernote is easy. I've captured hundreds for my home building project using my camera phone, scanner and from the web to inspire me and help guide the design process. And Evernote magically recognizes words that appear in my images, even my handwritten scribbles, to help me easily find them later.  

 

There are lots of other things you can put into Evernote. If you're a premier user, you can throw any file into Evernote, including Word docs and spreadsheets.
