The Passaic, which had washed over the bridge swept through the once-booming factory town, flooding the downtown and forcing hundreds to evacuate. 2. Hours after coming ashore in Louisiana, Tropic Storm Lee continues to dump heavy rain along the Gulf coast. Parts of Louisiana and Mississippi have received close to a foot of rains so far, and the storm is barely moving.
