The weather satellite picture shows a band of cloud moving through South Australia with a cold front bringing showers and storms. Cloud over WA is triggering showers. Patchy cloud over coastal New South Wales and Queensland with isolated showers, skies are mostly clear elsewhere. Taking a look around the states. In Queensland, mostly fine in the southeast with only isolated light showers near the coast. Light afternoon rain in parts of the east but fine elsewhere.
In New South Wales, there will be isolated showers about the northern coast. Early frost and fog patches on the ranges and in the east.
A fine day ahead for Victoria despite early fog patches in Gippsland. It will be mild day with moderate to fresh winds.
Tasmania will be fine but mostly cloudy. Winds will freshen and become gusty in the afternoon.
In South Australia, isolated showers and thunderstorms in the west, a warm to hot day with northerly winds ahead of a cooler change.
In Western Australia, isolated thunderstorms and scattered showers clearing in the southeast coastal district. Scattered showers also in the eastern interior.
