Cloud from a low pressure trough is covering much of eastern Australia, bring with areas of rain and thunderstorms. Cloud is also spreading through southwest WA along a front. East side of Tasmania, we will see resolving crystal showers as the day goes on, scattered afternoon and evening showers elsewhere and isolated thunderstorms in the southeast.
Southern district of South Australia will get some isolated showers today and there will be isolated evening thundery showers over the Nullarbor Plain. Some showers today for the southwest of Western Australia. It will be drain in other parts of the state.
And looking at the top end, there will be isolated showers and storms, mainly inland during the afternoon.
