Pen State has been under a dark cloud following sexual abuse charges that will file against former coach. The scandal forced the ousting of longtime coach Joe Paterno and others. 2. President Barack Obama has a busy day in Honolulu. He's there for the APEC summit as well as to drum up much needed business for the country's beleaguered economy.
3. At least 17 people have been killed in what Iran is calling an accidental explosion at an ammunition depot. However, an Iranian exile group claims the blast hit a missile base run by the country's Revolutionary Guard Corp.
4. There is celebration in Venezuela and Washington. Forces in the south American country were able to free Major League Baseball player Wilson Ramos. Catcher for the Washington Nationals had been kidnapped earlier in the week. |
