2. Tens of thousands of homes and businesses in Louisiana and Mississippi still don't have power days after Hurricane Isaac hit the Golf Coast. Areas west of New Orleans are contending with floods and flood damage.

 

 

 

3. Portugal is asking other European countries for help as it battles huge wildfires north of Lisbon. More than 1,700 firefighters are battling the flames which are fueled by hot, dry, windy weather.

 

 

 

4. And Hollywood is mourning a gentle giant. Actor Michael Clarke Duncan died in a hospital Monday, while being treated for a heart attack he had back in July. Duncan gained fame playing a death row inmate in "The Green Mile".
