KIEV, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov on Thursday held talks with his Estonian counterpart Andrus Ansip on bilateral ties. During the meeting, Azarov said Kiev highly values the friendly ties with Tallinn and appreciates its support for Ukraine's European integration aspirations.
"I want to thank you for Estonian support of our relations with the European Union," Azarov said.
On economic cooperation, Azarov said bilateral trade value amounted to some 600 million U.S. dollars in 2012.
Azarov believes that bilateral trade could be expanded and new areas for cooperation further explored.
Ukraine is interested to export electricity to Estonia with the possibility of re-exporting to third countries, Azarov said.
Ansip arrived here on Thursday for a two-day official visit. |
