Obama is telling voters in Florida that he's more trustworthy than Mitt Romney who shifted positions on several key issues. Meanwhile, Romney is heading to Nevada and Florida. 2. Tear and grief are spreading through a small town in New Jersey after a 12-year-old girl was found dead. The body of Autumn Pasquale was found in a recycling container last night. Autopsy results are pending.
3. Saudi Arabia has announced the beginning of the Islamic hajj pilgrimage. Set to start Thursday, the pilgrimage attracts three million Muslims to Mecca every year. Already some 1.4 million people from 160 countries have arrived.
4. The Boston Red Sox have a new manager. John Farrell is leaving Toronto and taking over for Bobby Valentine, who was fired after one of the worst seasons in team history. The Red Sox finished in last place with a 69-93 record, their worst since 1965. |
