1. The Massachusetts fire marshal says a gas company worker caused Friday's massive explosion in Springfield. Officials say the worker responding to reports of a gas leak punctured a pipe. Eighteen people were hurt, and debris were scattered for several blocks, but no one was killed. 2. Activists say rebels have captured a helicopter base near the Syrian capital Damascus. They apparently destroyed two choppers using rocket propelled grenades and captured a tank.
