Vapor being release and sent to the atmosphere is a constant in southwestern Edinburgh. In this industrial corner of the city, it’s being an everyday reassuring sight for decade, not now. Now it’s the prime suspect into the investigation into what caused this outbreak of legionnaire disease. It had claimed one life before the Scottish government called what was effectively at a crisis meeting of health experts. In the news conference, they revealed the latest figures, they were up but there had been no more death. Very much hope that we do not see anybody else lose their lives through the so big obviously ongoing outbreak. The numbers of cases are continuing to increase, I would expect them to increase further.
Situated in this part of Scotland’s capital as a home of Scottish rugby and hearts of football club, but there’s a cooling tower that is less unknown institutions attracting all the attention now. 16 cooling towers are being tested at four sites: the North British Distillery, Macfarlan Smith Chemical, AEGON, it logged inside Edinburg and Burton’s Biscuit factory. Most of the confirmed cases are in three areas of the city: Dalry, Saughton and Gorgie. So far one man has died and another 21 confirmed cases with 19 suspected cases.
It’s quite afraid, you know, it should really, you know specially, we’ve people dying of it, you don’t know where the sources coming from, what’s happened and what they’re doing about it ?

Tests on these cooling towers won’t produce results for several days and so there won’t be any confirmation of a source for some time nor will it be a definitive figure for those effective for several days because the occupation period of legionnaire disease, it can take days for someone to recognize the symptoms.
