   Her stomach was killing her. Whenever she was stressed out, the stress went straight to her stomach. "How bad is it?" he asked. "It's almost as bad as childbirth," she said. "It's 9 on a scale of 10." She squeezed her eyes shut for a moment. Her stomach was bloated. He gave her a stomach massage. He gave her a lower back massage. Her stomach still hurt. She stood up. She walked around. She groaned over and over. She said, "I'm hurting," over and over. He stood by. There was nothing he could do. They had gone to doctors before. They always said the same thing: gas. They recommended gas relief tablets. Sometimes the tablets worked, and sometimes they didn't. She took two tablets. Almost an hour later, she blasted out a huge fart. He laughed. She smiled. Most of the pain was gone. "I feel much better," she said.
