2. An 11-year-old boy is in critical condition and a 13-year-old girl was in stable condition after a 12-year-old boy allegedly opened fire Tuesday at his school in Roswell, New Mexico. A teacher is credited with stepping in and convincing the boy to drop his weapon. 

 

3. Some homes have been evacuated on Northern California’s Kimball Island where a brush fire has been out of control. 

 

4. And gay marriages are on hold in Oklahoma even after a judge struck down the state’s same sex marriage ban. The judge issued a stay to keep same sex couples from getting married while appeals proceed.
