In the deadlist violence against foreign civilians in Afghanistan since the start of the war nearly 13 years ago, a suicide bomber blew himself up outside a restaurant in Cabul Friday night. The attack killed at least 21 people, including 2 U.S. citizens.

 

Voters overwhelmingly supported Egypt's military-backed constitution in a 2-day election, with 98.1% percent supporting it in the first vote since a coup toppled the country's president. The election was seen as a key to legitimizing the military-backed interim government.

 

And in Washington, Bao Bao is making her debut at the National Zoo Saturday - the first time the general public is allowed to see the 5-month-old panda cub. The zoo has extened its hours this weekend to accommodate the expected crowds.
