Eighteen-year-old Daniel Christie was king-hit after he and his brother witnessed an assault at Potts Point. He remains in a critical condition on life support.
A Palestinian diplomat has been killed in an explosion at his home in Prague. Jamal Al-Jamal was the head of the Palestinian diplomatic mission in the Czech Republic. It's believed the explosion was triggered when he opened a safe or a case.
And Formula One champion Machael Schumacher is now in a stable condition after his third night in a French hospital. Schumacher remains in an induced coma after suffering a brain injury in a skiing accident. His manager says he is being closely monitored.
The head of US peace-keeping mission in South Sudan has accused both sides of the conflict of committing terrible acts of violence. The United Nations is calling on both sides to agree to a ceasefire. Peace talks are due to get underway in neighbouring Ethiopia. |
