Police in India have arrested 13 men in connection with a gang-rape in the state of West Bengal. The young woman says village elders ordered the attack when she was unable to pay a 400-dollar fine. The attack was punishment for having a relationship with a man from a different community.
Pop star Justin Bieber has appeared in a Miami court, accused of drink driving. Police pulled over the singer when he was spotted drag racing. He's also been charged with resisting arrest without violence and having an expired license. The judge set bail at 2,500 dollars. |
