In France, two people are killed when a rockslide derails a tourist train in the Alps. Officials say a boulder slid down in the mountain, caving in the side of the train on impact. Nine others onboard were injured.
3. And a fiery wreck in Argentina kills 16 people and injures 12 aboard a bus. Witnesses say it collided with another truck that was driving the wrong way down a highway.
4. And the first golden medal of the 2014 Olympics goes to the USA, Sage Kostenburg taking the first place in the first ever snowboard slope style event. The Utah native credits his win with using a trick he created. |
