CCTV9英语新闻：银监会对银行监管问题的指导意见（在线收听）

China Banking Regulatory Commission on Wednesday issued regulations on banking supervision in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone--it’s all about quicker approvals, stricter risk controls.

The guidance lays out three basic systems, covering simplified entry process for banks and senior management positions , guidance on risk assessment, and banks monitoring and reporting system.

According to the new regulations, banks can set up regional branches in the FTZ without CBRC approval in advance, but only need to file a report afterwards.

It will largely shorten the time of getting financial certificate for new branches, from the previous 6 months the longest to within 10 working days.
