We've got a trough moving into the southeastern state. It's actually a weakening frontal system that's going to be driven south by a ridge of high pressure. It's going to maintain a fairly cloudy conditions but relatively mild air and generally patchy light rain, better with falls about the Alpine areas, New South Wales and Victoria, also about the northwestern corner of Tasmania. But for Queensland, we've got onshore winds. Now that's going to trigger some showers. There'll be isolated ... about the southern tropical coast although it will become a little more frequent than in anywhere north of Kent. We're looking at those showers becoming isolated again and cloudy increasing in the south but relatively dry. We're also looking at patchy rain over much of the inland New South Wales. It should remain clear on the coast but very overcast conditions with that patchy rain reaching the far southeast late in the day.
Rain across Victoria will gradually spread east in the afternoon, leaving behind it will be some showers zone and south of the ranges.
We've also got rain spreading across Tasmania but by the time we reach about lunch time it should start to contract further north clearing to just about the Strait Islands as we're heading to the evening.
Of South Australia, little bit patchy rain about the northeast, clearing and got isolated showers elsewhere. A little bit more frequent about the southern coast of fringe. It could've been isolated thunderstorm or two.
And moist westerly wind flow across southwest land and visioned triggering some potentially widespread showers but most of those falls are expected to be light. And through the Northern Territory and Kimberly Pillbera region it's expecting mostly dry conditions, just a bit cloud about the far south of the territory. |
