Videos provided to the Associated Press show a couple who disappeared in Afghanistan in late 2012 appealing to the U.S. government for help in freeing them from their Taliban captors. The American family of then-pregnant Caitlan Coleman received the videos last year. They offer the only clues about what happened to Coleman and her Canadian husband Joshua Boyle after they lost touch with their familes 20 months ago. Traveling in Poland, President Barack Obama held up 25 years of Polish democracy as a beacon for neighboring Ukraine in a public celebration. He also warned Russia the free world is united against its tactics to violate Ukraine's sovereignty.
Nearly 200,000 people in HongKong joined the candle-light vigil to remember the victims and commemorate the 25th anniversay of China's Tiananmen Square crackdown.
And a 13-year-old girl from India has become the youngest girl to Everest Summit Mount Everest after 8 months of training for the climb. Malavath Poorna and her team of guides reached the summit on May 25 from the northern side in Tibet.
