A moist southerly flow over New South Wales and southern Queensland coasts is producing showers with the odd thunderstorm off shore. Onshore wind about Queensland's Kent's Coast is generating scattered coastal showers. Moist easterly winds are causing thundery showers about the eastern Top End.

Looking around the country:

In Queensland showers in the east, possible storms in the north, mostly sunny and gusty winds in the west. New South Wales, showers in the southeast and the State, a cool morning then a mile and sunny day in the west. In Victoria, showers are spreading from the south. Alpines snow, cool with southwestly winds, fresh in the south. Showers are spreading from the west Tasmania. Highlands snow, a gusty southerly change during the day. To South Australia, a southerly change in the southeast, dry and mostly sunny inland. In Western Australia, early fog patches in southeast, mostly sunny in the remainder. And the Northern Territory can expect gusty showers in the northeast, dry and fresh, strong southeastly winds elsewhere.

Looking to tomorrow's forecast:

Brisbane, partly cloudy with the chance of isolated showers in the coast. Cloudy in Sydney with scattered showers in the east. Melbourne, possible morning showers partly cloudy. Partly cloudy and lightly winds in Tasmania, Adelaide and Canberra. And Darwin, a windy but sunny day.
