Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that he hoped to enhance exchanges and mutual learning between the legislative bodies of China and Argentina. The visiting Chinese leader expressed these when meeting with Argentina’s vice president and head of the Senate, Amado Boudou, and the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Julian Dominguez. Xi Jinping spoke highly of the exchanges between China’s National People’s Congress and the Argentine National Congress.
President Xi and Argentina President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner decided to upgrade the two countries’ relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership after their meeting on Friday.
