Let's take a look at the satellite.

Multiple troughs are causing rain areas and isolated storms in New South Wales and Queensland. A low is producing showers and isolated storms over Victoria and Tasmania. And a cold front is causing showers over southwest WA.

Looking around the country.

In Queensland it will be cloudy in the east with showers and storms possible through the southeast. Light showers near the coast in the north and sunny in the west. New South Wales can expect showers and storms through the northeast. A few showers on the southern ranges, southern inland. A few showers in eastern Victoria will clear later drying partly cloudy in the west of the state. A mostly cool day. Tasmania will be partly cloudy with a few light showers in the north, mostly sunny and cool elsewhere in the state. In South Australia, it will be sunny throughout with some early fog patches in east. Western Australia can expect a cold, wet and windy change in the southwest with possible storms, mild in the south and warm in the north. The Northern Territory will also be mild in the south with a few showers about the far northeast.

Now looking ahead to tomorrow's forecasts.

Sunny in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra. Partly cloudy in Melbourne, Hobart and Adelaide. A shower or two in Perth and sunny in Darwin.
