-There was tape. There were metals. There were tools. There was left money, even jewels, so it was clear to us that whatever was left in the Billboard related directly to the crime in Antwerp, and that was our first luck. Within the trash, a nice document came out. It was fallen apart, almost thousand pieces.

The shredded document was an invoice.

-We reconstructed the document and at heading we saw a company name, Damoro Preziosi. And Damoro Preziosi was located in diamond center, head director, Lenonardo Notarbaktolo. Lenonardo Notarbaktolo had a safe downstairs. That was untouched.

It didn't add up how did a company document end up in a dump wood, when the same company's safe was never opened during the rape. Detectives turned their attention to the company's director, Lenonardo Notarbaktolo, and his movement in the days before the breaking.

-We saw that he was the guy that came in first on Friday and left as the last guy out.

Mr. Notarbaktolo seemed to have an unusual amomunt of business in the safe room that day. At last, officers had their first suspect. And an incriminating picture began to emerge the company director and what appeared to be meticulous preparations for the robbery.

-He actually came into the diamond center two years in advance. He rented an office. He needed to take his time to be comfortable to learn about diamond center.
