More hot weather on the way for the north, but a cooler gusty change moving through southern states. Now that's increased at the far end ranges. And there will be some wild weather with some morning's current, but most of the rains are going to be well south with the heaviest falls in Tasmania. In Queensland, the band of showers and storms from the northwest to the southeast. There'll be a few showers about the tropical coast too.
Early rain areas of the southern inland parts of New South Wales, then isolated showers and storms throughout. They'll be contracting easter ahead of that cooler change.
The early rain band will move through Victoria too, scattered showers following in the southern end mountain areas. And we'll have some snow falls developing on the Alpine peaks. And the coastal areas could see some hail.
Showers across Tasmania, at least slightly about the east. And there is a chance of some storms and hail in the far west and the south. And snow areas down to 400 meters.
Showers about the southern agricultural area, clearing later in the day, and some thundery showers over the northeast pastoral district. And that will contract northwest through the day too.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeastern interior of Western Australia, and we'll see some morning drizzle about those eastern parts of the southern coast.
To the north, showers and storms in the south and the west, a hot day, 41 for Katherine.
And in the capital cities tomorrow:
Cooler in the south, but still hot and windy in Sydney. The change coming through on Sunday, Brisbane will have to wait until Monday.
