A low pressure trough is triggering foundering showers in the inland parts of QLD and NT. A second trough is producing thunderstorms over parts of SA and showers over the south western Victoria. Pointing ahead to today’s forecast for the state in QLD, more showers and storms developing from the northwest to the southeast inland. A very hot day in the all the southeast part of NSW and some afternoon shower and thunderstorms in the northeast and possibly in the far west. A warm day for Victorians with suddenly change bringing summer relief and shower for the west and central areas later in the day. In TAS, showers about the west and the northwest extensions cross most other areas during the day. Very hot and thundering condition in far north of SA generally dry the south. In WA, showers and thunderstorms around the southeast, storms in the Far East. [lessly] sunny and hot cross the NT while showers and storms cross the south. Moving ahead to tomorrow’s forecast for the capitals. Mostly sunny in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, possible showers in Sydney and also in Canberra, sunny in Hobart, cloudy in Perth possible thunderstorms in Darwin. |
