The super severe thunderstorm is possible in association with surface in upper-level sitting trough the eastern state on Saturday. Planet mostly fading into that is likely to lead to flash flood through parts of New South Wales into Queensland and potentially through eastern parts of Victoria. Very hot air continuing through the northwest of Western Australia and becoming a little bit down unsettled, with that will ease in the part of that state. But for Queensland, widespread showers and thunderstorms across the state, easing to some showers up around the northeastern tropical coast. Potential of severe conditions, particularly in association with a locally heavy rainfall.
Similar story for New South Wales apart from the west and the far south. Else, we are looking at widespread showers and thunderstorms. We could see flash flood in association with thundery storms, particular through the northern and eastern parts of the state.
And for Victoria, we’ve also got very widespread showers. Thunderstorms should be confined to the far east, localized heavy falls with those. And showers, just very isolated about the northwestern corner.
For Tasmania, a little bit morning drizzle about the south and southeast. A few showers about the north. And that’ll contract to the northwest in the afternoon.
For South Australia, relatively clear and dry conditions. Brief shower about the south. Possible thunderstorms, though, through the western border and the eastern interior of the southwest land vision. We’ve also got very hot conditions through the north. |
