CCTV9英语新闻：Tianjin FTZ enjoys more edge for opening up（在线收听）

The city of Tianjin is the port for Beijing and its surrounding areas. And the newly approved Tianjin free trade area is expected to boost regional integration of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei Province . Analysts say the free trade zone has larger leeway of opening up and customs regulation.

Wu Yuanfei is the general manager of a local logistics company, which has shipping business around the world. The turnaround is much quicker than what it is used to be, three or four days. Jiang says he values high efficiency in customs clearing here, because the less time in transportation, the fresher his products will be.

The Tianjin Free trade zone covers around 120 square kilometers, four times as large as the Shanghai FTZ. Officials say the Tianjin FTZ has more to offer, apart from its sheer size.

Analysts say services firms are also attracted to the new FTZ due to convenience and higher efficiency.  Nearly 30 legal firms are expected to set up their offices in the zone.
