1. Floodwaters are inundating states up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Hundreds of thousands of people are forced to leave their homes in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey because of rising waters. At least 11 people have died in the floods.
2. Airstrike shook the Gaza Strip today as Israeli warplanes took aim at Palestinian militants. It's in retaliation for the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier last weekend. The attack knocked out power to more than a million people in the Gaza Strip.
3. Two men who were missing after Tuesday's motel fire in Georgia have been found unharmed. But one other person was killed. Investigators are still trying to determine whether a gas leak caused the explosion of the Great Western Inn.
4. Bill Hargrove is no ordinary bowler. At 105, he is the oldest bowler in America. He began playing the game in 1924 and hasn't stopped since. His eyesight is poor. He has to depend on friends to tell him what pins are still standing. But this centenarian is not slowing down. He bowls twice a week in two different leagues and he wins.
