1. U. S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is in Jerusalem. She met with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert about a possible peace plan to end fighting with Hezbollah. Rice's plan calls for an international peacekeeping force to be deployed to southern Lebanon.
2. Hezbollah's leader is claiming victory in the ground war against Israel and threatening more rocket attacks. Sheik Hassan Nasrallah's appearance on Lebanese television came after Israeli forces pulled out of a Hezbollah stronghold border town.
3. Authorities in Seattle have increased security around synagogues and mosques after a shooting Friday. One person was killed, five others wounded during the shooting at a Jewish organization. The suspect, Naveed Haq, made his first appearance in court this afternoon.
4. And this is what happens when lightning hits a propane tank. A massive ball of flames erupted Friday night at a truck stop in northern Las Vegas. No one was hurt in the explosion. Authorities briefly had to evacuate the area.
