The pontiff's choice of saints is seen as a step to encourage Christian in the Middle East after persecution from IS militants. 2. Iraq's Ministry of Defense has released video showing the ongoing airstrikes on Islamic State group targets. The ministry says the jets were able to destroy hideouts of IS militants.
3. Tens of thousands gathered in Macedonia to demand the resignation of a conservative prime minister Nikola Gruevski. Protest outside government building followed the release of massive caches of wiretapped conversation.
4. And Russian President Vladimir Putin was a star in an exhibition ice hockey match in Sochi this Weekend. Putin's team won 18-6 in the match to celebrate 70 years since the victory of WWI. The president helped his team with an impressive 8 goals.
