  Excuse me. There's a little bit of echoes why I have trouble speaking

  They stood up for human rights

  They stood up for wars that were wrong and protest it
  他们反对错误的战争
  I remember groups coming down sheded breaking every window
  我还记得人群涌上街头砸掉每一扇窗户
  Tear gas. We smelled tear gas
  催泪瓦斯 我们闻到了催泪瓦斯
  We collected rubber bullets when I was here
  我在这儿的时候我们收集了橡皮子弹
  It was a hard time to remember
  那段日子确实很艰难
  But there were a lot of people standing up for something that was right
  但是有很多的人去捍卫正确的东西
  And for fair treatment as well
  也去争取公平对待
  Intellectuals stand up and say people should have certain rights that how they are gonna be accused of something

  What does it mean?

  Innocent until proven guilty
  证据不足不能定罪
  The burden of proof is on the accuser We often forget that sort of stuff We challenged the war

  That was very wrong back in the Vietnam War And the faith that was going around with us: make love, not war
  当年的越南战争是非常错误的 当时伴随我们的信念是 要做爱 不要战争
  And I took that into my heart and became a pacifist as a result Berkeley of course was the best time of my life
