 February 17th 1992 - In Milwaukee, serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer receives a series of life sentences for his grizzly string of murders. Dahmer had admitted to killing 17 young men and boys, some of whom he mutilated and cannibalized.

Just a few years later, Dahmer is beaten to death by a fellow inmate behind bars.
1801 – In Washington ,the House of Representatives breaks an electorate tie between Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr.
The House chooses Jefferson to be America’s 3rd president; Burr becomes his vice-president.
1996 – World chess champion Garry Kasparov beats Deep Blue – the  IBM  super computer in a 6-game match in Philadelphia.
"I knew that I could learn much better, because my appoint would need more time to learn, and combat with a really, a sophisticated conquer strategy." The following year, Kasparov loses to Deep Blue in a rematch.

And 1976 –" Take it easy,take it easy" The Eagles releases their greatest  hits 1971-75 album - still the best-selling album in the U.S. ever.
