What do most people in China think of Chairman Mao? Is he seem as a controversial figure or is he generally seem as the creator of modern China?Well, two sides. On one side, he was still. The people still think he is a national hero, and he is a great person in the Chinese history.On the other side, I think today Chinese people also talk about, you know, the mistakes he made.It's more and more open for people talk about this. After Mao's death in 1976, Chinese leaders were growing to start slowly reforming in economy. And in recent years, the Chinese have begun greediest govering in more spiritual and philosophical side to their lives, which Mao Communism thought to suppress.
The same sides have the faith and belief and traditional custom. It's something that a lot of Chinese people are now searching for.
Yeah, I think so. Actually, we have, like thousand years of history. And we have such the great culture in traditions.It never fades away from Chinese people's lives. We still respect our ancestor. We respect our philosophies and religion. I think that's a great thing(laughing) |
