And today's topic is what the English for "说话小心点。"is.Please listen to a simple situational dialogue first and try your best to hunt it .

Now have you spotted it? It is "watch your toungue" . This means "be careful what you are saying because you are saying the bad things". What kind of situation can be often used ? It's usually said to children when they say something unkind and rude. "Watch yourtongue."字面上的意思是看守住你的舌头。You could give your rein to imagination. 想想你说话的时候你的舌头是不是在运动的，那你要 把握好运动的方向哦，朝着正确的轨道，而不要偏离轨道哦，那么引申出来就是“说善言”，勿说“不逊之言”，若是说不逊之言则要三思，

 

那“watch you tongue”地道的中文翻译就是：说话小心点。

Of course , we have more pure expressions which can express the

same meaning as "watch your tongue." They are as follows:

1. Watch your mouth. （注意你的嘴巴。）

2. Watch your language. (注意你的措辞。)

3. Hold your tongue.(管好你的嘴巴。)（ PS: this is an old way to

say "Stop talking ".）

4. Bite your tongue. （祸从口出。）

5. watch your tone.(注意你的语气。)
