1. Your words cut rather deeply : “你的话真得很伤人”。

Cut原意指“切、割、砍”，此处引申为“你的话令我‘心如刀割’”。

2. They're just some other lies :“这只不过又是谎言。”

口语中，我们可注意短语some other的用法，比如，拒绝见面的推托之辞“We can meet some other time.”（我们改天再见吧。）
