It's really essential to the way we live because the world is quite fast moving now, everyone wants to have information at their fingertips and they can do that with the internet. Yang Li: That’s Nikhil. He said that the internet is essential to the way we live. Diarmuid: We spoke to people from all walks of life both young and old. Lance: My name is Lance. I am in my 60s but it doesn't put me off using the internet, though perhaps I'm a little rusty now. Li: Do you want to learn more about how to use the internet a bit more in the future? Lance: I think at my age I'm not really too bothered. I think for children, young people, coming up, it's probably essential. Yang Li: Lance said he's not bothered but for children it is essential, isn’t it? Here’s 12-year-old Fred. Fred: I’m Fred and I’m 12. I can’t imagine the world without an internet because there's so many great things you can do on it and there's not really any other way to get that much information.
