【英语时差8,16】Dame Judi Dench 朱迪.丹奇夫人(在线收听) |
"I’m an entirely animal kind of actress you know. I do it on a kind of instinct. And of course there’s so much research you can do but then you’re acting with other people and it’s what they give you." That was Dame Judi Dench.Judi Dench has been acting for many years, so how does she do it? She says that researching or studying a part is important, but there’s only so much research you can do. You also get a lot from the other actors you are acting with. "Oh I think we were encouraged a great deal. We were taken to the theatre. And my father was a doctor but he was also an amateur actor. So we were taken to things all the time. And of course you had no television so we were always being taken to the theatre or to see something. " Judi and her brother Geoff, who is also an actor, were both encouraged as children to enjoy and appreciate going to see plays. One of the reasons the family went to the theatre to see plays often is because they didn’t have a television. Imagine not having television! "I only ever wanted to be a theatre designer and that was what I was going to be. And Geoff went to Central and came home and was just so fired up by it that that gave me the idea. And if it hadn’t been for that I don’t think I would have done it." So if it hadn’t been for her brother, Judi Dench wouldn’t have become the amazing actress she is today. So what is it like acting opposite Daniel Craig who plays James Bond? "In Casino Royale he starts very kind of raw. And then suddenly that wonderful moment he puts on the dinner jacket, oh, was just terrific. And became James Bond. So it’s working with a different actor. A different person, a different personality. Slightly different shift for me. "
