Report Tara Brown and a 60 Minutes TV crew have flown out of Lebanon after being released from prison with Australian mother Sally Faulkner. Legal sources say Channel 9 agreed to pay compensation to Sally Faulkner’s estranged husband and that was likely to be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Under the deal, Ali Elamine will retain custody of his two children who were target of a botched child recovery operation. Now he’s denied receiving money from Channel 9 but hasn’t ruled out future payments.

“Here you see them give you compensate. I wish I was. I hope they’ll send me a check. I mean for all the media stuff they promise. I mean shall I be gaining paid to get on their TV or something.” Ali Elamine there.

Police have set up a crime scene after the death of a taxi driver in Melbourne. The man in his 20s was found in Fitzroy with upper body injuries at around 11:30 last night. Police believe he just parked his taxi when he was attacked.

WA police are searching for a man who sexually assault 2 young children after ruling them from a Perth child care center. Police say the man took the four and five-year-old children from school holiday care facility yesterday before sexually assaulting them and leaving them in a nearby park.
