1. Tornados tore across eastern New Mexico overnight destroying homes and buildings. Dozens of people were injured. The National Weather Service says the twisters came one right after the other.

2. The U.N. Security Council unanimously voted to impose sanctions against Iran for its nuclear program. The sanctions include banning Iranian arms exports and freezing the assets of people and originations involved in that country's nuclear and missile programs.

3. The Iranian military says 15 British detainees have confessed to entering Iranian waters illegally. The sailors and marines were seized yesterday while searching for smugglers off the coast of Iraq. Britain says the 15 did not stray into Iranian waters and is demanding their safe return.

4. Three New Jersey teens are basking in the limelight just days after they stopped a runaway school bus. The driver suffered a seizure while driving students to school Thursday morning. The teens jumped into the driver seat and swerved out of the way of oncoming traffic before bringing the bus to a safe stop.
