2. New Jersey's acting governor says he hopes John Corzine can reclaim his post in a few weeks. Corzine broke his leg, a number of ribs, his sternum and cracked a vertebra when his motorcade crashed along the Garden State Parkway yesterday.

3. There were a lot of empty seats today in Iraq's parliament. Few lawmakers showed up a day after a suicide bomber struck inside the parliament building. An al-Qaeda-led insurgent group has claimed responsibility.

4. He is apparently a robber with a conscience. Surveillance video shows that the man who robbed this convenience store stuck around long enough to help the clerk who thought she was suffering a heart attack. He even let her call 911 for help, but fled the scene before authorities arrived.
